Absolutely - our reusable bamboo bowls offer a real alternative to traditional fossil-fuel-based plastic, but also fragile and disposable dishware for kids and families. Bamboo has always been at the heart of designs because it is one of the most renewable resources on Earth. Our responsibly-sourced bamboo is collected as sawdust waste from selected bamboo chopstick factories. It's ground to a fine powder and then combined with dry pigments and a 100% food-safe resin making our dishware non-toxic, durable, and reusable - a most sustainable practice!

Absolutely. At EKOBO, safety and quality are essential. Rest assured, our signature eco-composite is made for daily use with hot and cold foods and liquids like soup and coffee. Our bamboo fiber bowls will maintain their appearance over time as it is the same material inside and out. There is no varnish, coating, or paint on the surface of our plates, so they'll never fade, peel or leach harmful chemicals. Like all our products, our reusable bamboo bowls comply with all food safety standards worldwide (FDA & REACH) and is free of BPA, BPS, PVC, Phthalates, Lead, Cadmium, and Mercury. 

ARE REUSABLE BAMBOO BOWLS MICROWAVE AND DISWASHER SAFE?

Our eco-friendly dishware isn't just good-looking! Our BPA-free reusable bamboo bowls are dishwasher-safe - another reason they’ll become your go-to! They are also shatter-proof making them a safer alternative to glass and ceramic which makes them ideal for kids. But do treat them with care because of the rigidity of the bamboo our eco-composite material isn’t unbreakable. However, because our eco-composite products are formed with heat, microwave or oven-safe is not recommended.
